Terms of Service

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Anar. Keep your sign-in details secure and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account.

Halal information

Place details, halal status, hours and reviews come from businesses, public sources and the Anar community. We work to keep them accurate, but we cannot guarantee them. Always confirm halal status, ingredients and allergens directly with the business before you eat. Anar is a guide, not a certification body.

Your content

You own the reviews, photos, reels and other content you post. By posting, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, adapt and share it to operate and promote Anar. You can delete your content at any time, and the license ends once it is removed (except for copies already shared by others or kept in backups for a limited time).

You confirm that you have the rights to what you post and that it follows these terms.

Community guidelines

Anar is a map for your people, so be kind. Do not:

• Post false, misleading or paid reviews, or review a business you own or compete with.
• Harass, threaten, demean or discriminate against anyone.
• Post hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content, or anyone's private information.
• Share content you don't have the rights to.
• Spam, scrape, reverse engineer or try to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to Anar.
• Impersonate another person or business.

We may review, hide or remove content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these terms or put the community at risk. You can report content or users in the app.

Businesses

If you manage a listing, you confirm you are authorized to act for the business and that the information you give is accurate. Offering anything in exchange for reviews is not allowed.

Third-party services

Anar links to and shows content from other services, like maps, Instagram and TikTok. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for them.

Our service

Anar, including its design, logo and software, belongs to Abdul Abbas. We may change, add or remove features, and may stop offering Anar with reasonable notice where possible. Anar is currently free to use.

Disclaimers

Anar is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that Anar will be uninterrupted, error-free or that information on it is accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Abdul Abbas is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your visits to places found through Anar or your reliance on information in it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or 50 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Ending your use

You can stop using Anar and delete your account at any time. If we close your account for a breach of these terms, we will tell you where appropriate.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Anar after that means you accept the new terms.
